Monday was a Public Holiday so we stayed home for the day and just played around the house. In the afternoon Dad and I had a massive water-canon fight around the pool. It was great fun. We giggled and giggled, and eventually, sopping wet from head-to-toe we relented.

During the morning on Tuesday we popped in to Oriental City Rivonia, which is always fun. I discovered a limited edition Batmobile, and after some intense negotiation with Mom and Dad I got it. It’s really awesome.

In the afternoon we went to Joseph’s house for mommy’s tea. Ryan was also there and we had a play. Daddy wasn’t home when we got home in the evening as he was out doing a quick site visit at the one flat.

On Wednesday we went to Eastgate to see the Smurfs Live on Stage. It was really really awesome. We sang and danced and clapped along with the story and the show. Afterward I had a nice long play at Funtumbles and even got to ride the bumper cars. Twice. On my own!

Thursday we hung out at Yeesh in Woodmead where I played up a storm. It was great fun.

On Friday Mom, Dad and I went to see Frozen in 3D. It’s a really sweet movie. In the evening the frog population in the neighbourhood was really active and loud. Dad is really worried that the construction next door will harm them, so he’s making plans to get into the site to relocate the frogs. The frogs now ribbit the whole night and in the day. It’s really amazing. Daddy reckons there must be about 20 of them! Although we see them, and they even come for a swim in our pool, we’ve never managed to take a pic of them!

Saturday was pretty quiet. Mom, Gran and I did some shopping and we chillaxed.

Mom and Granny took me to Montecasino on Sunday. First we visited the Bird Gardens, where I fed the birds and we had look at hundreds of different types of birds. In the middle of the Gardens is a steep walkway that I decided to slide on, on my bum. As I went over the wood panels I shouted ‘Bum Burn!’ as my little bum got hot on the wood. Everyone giggled and giggled.

Afterwards we wandered around Montecasino and I was treated to some audiobooks and a DVD. Being really hot we stayed at Montecasino for much of the afternoon to keep out of the heat.

Its two more sleeps to Christmas Eve so I’m very excited.

‘Til next week!

Love,

Jay-Bee
