It’s been a relatively ordinary week. From a therapy perspective my diary has gone haywire and I’ve not seen Laruen for OT this week, nor am I up to speed on my speech therapies. However the week did see the introduction of play therapy with Braam Beetge. We hit it off straight away, and he’s therapy room is out of this world. The walls of his office are covered in shelves from floor to ceiling, and every shelf has hundreds of toys on it.

School was great throughout the week, and we’re building Old MacDonald’s farm. In the car today I was telling Daddy about the project and he asked how long it would take to finish. I said “About 10 weeks!”

Tuesday evening we all went to Granny’s place for hamburgers, but Daddy was so tired that we didn’t stay long.

Friday I had a playdate with Joseph, but we were both a little out of sorts so it wasn’t a roaring success. On top of it I got a splinter, which made me very unhappy.

Saturday morning Daddy and I did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle training. It was such fun. Afterwards we both donned luminous vests and headed out to do DIY around the complex. Daddy is a trustee in the complex now, and in order to save the body corporate some money, Dad will do basic DIY. It was such a lot of fun, I helped carry tools, hold things and chat to residents.

In the afternoon, while Daddy was at poker, Mom and I visited family friends of Mommy in Springs. It was really far away, but we had a great visit. I even proved that I could get in and out the house through the dog flap!

Sunday morning Dad and I continued our TMNT training! Granny came around for lunch and we all had a wonderful family affair. Dad needed to go for a workshop with his colleagues at his offices. Needless to say I don’t ever pass up the opportunity to go to his work, so I sat through the workshop and ‘worked’.

In the evening we washed Mischka and afterward I flooded the bathroom with an ‘extra’ big bath, and practiced my underwater swimming. It went really well, except when I swallowed bucket loads of water. I think all our neighbours heard my coughing (and giggling).

Well that’s it for this week!

Love
