Hi all!

Given that baby is in breech and that the resistive index is a little high, the experts have opted for a Caesarean to deliver baby Lederer. Lynn has been booked into theatre for 3pm this afternoon. This means that today is the day to implement project Time Capsule! I’ve already received excited calls and SMS’s from people who have already been out purchasing newspapers and gathering till slips etc. Your support of our little project has been phenomenal, thank you everyone!

Upon hearing that today is the day, we’ve had some queries. I’ll attempt to answer these now.

What about a name for baby Lederer?

Yes, we have given this lots of thought, and from the outset Lynn and I agreed not to share the names we’ve thought of. But just to tease all of you a little, I’ve created an anagram of the name, which is as follows: Radar and jeer lox. Hint: Two of the names is Siphwe Sizwe, which means “given nation”!!! Go figure. Happy unscrambling.

Will you continue with the blog and the Bébé Lederer Times?

Yes, absolutely! Time permitting of course! I suspect the publications may become less frequent, but I endeavour to nevertheless continue with them, even if it means doing some outsourcing.

Did you take photo’s of Lynn’s tummy?

Yes, but these will not be published.

Did you have a last supper?

Yes Bree, we did go to a posh restaurant last night for our ‘last supper’ just to remind ourselves that we still have a life. In fact we even went out for breakfast this morning and chuckled at the herd of workers migrating to work for the day.

Bye for now. The next blog will include pics of baby!
