On Monday morning, Granny, Mommy and I went to the HaaHoo park where Mom slashed a tyre on the car parking, so I got an extra-long play while Mom waited for Merc assist to sorted it out. During this time Granny looked after me while I played in oblivion to what Mommy was doing. After the extra-long play I fell asleep and Granny headed off home to Tammy.

Granny came to help look after me on Tuesday, as Mommy had a migraine, she helped and played and played with me till she had to fetch Tammy. After my snooze it started raining. Roxy was inside because she was scared of the thunder, so while she cowered from the noise, I got on top of her and played like she was Bullseye from Toy Story 2. I shouted “Giddy up giddy up”, but for some reason Roxy wouldn’t budge. Since I wasn’t getting any joy out of her being Bullseye, I then forced her to sit at my table and have some tea with me; Mom caught me feeding her tea directly into her mouth. I didn’t go to school Tuesday as my tummy was a little upset as well.

Mommy’s migraine, hadn’t subsided by Wednesday so I had to entertain myself for most of the day, except for when Mom surfaced to make me food, although it should be said, she did make sure that I was playing right next to her on the bed. I only managed to get away from her twice but she heard the commotion before I got too far into trouble. In the afternoon a massive rainstorm broke, and Robin let us know the next day that it had raised 10mm of rain in the space of about 30 minutes.

On Thursday Mom and I went to music and then we did some shopping. Daddy came home early to look after me, so he took me to the Haahoo Park. The good news for the day was that Mommy via Helen (Kyle’s Mommy) found a specialist in France who may be willing to get involved in my case. Mommy was quite excited to have found him, and will start opening communication channels with him.

Mom, Granny and I went to Lifestyle Centre on Friday for some plastic drums to pack into my cupboards for my toys. After some shopping we popped into Primi Piatti for some lunch. We were disappointed to discover the aeroplane jungle gym that I used to love playing on had been replaced by a plastic jungle-gym, similar to the Haahoo Park. It was a hot day, and we learnt that the fake turf is not so great on hot days, as it made my feet burn and get really sore. I screamed with pain, till mom put ice on my feet to cool them down. Secondly, the plastic jungle-gym was also unpleasant to play on, as under the baking sun it was nearly impossible to play on, as it was so hot to the touch.

Later on the in the day, much to Mommy’s shock and horror, an implant in her mouth came lose and fell out. Dad and I were amazed at how big it was – I could never image such a long rod of metal in my jawbone. But then again, who am I to talk, with the masses of platinum in my head.

Saturday morning started with a family outing to the Haahoo Park, but as it was approaching midday it was just too hot to stay there. Much of the rest of the day we spent pottering around the house, with my helping Dad do some DIY-maintenance.

We were greeted with a shock on Sunday morning when we discovered our previous maid had stolen all our gold coins that my Mom and Dad had been collecting for me. We could never understand why she disappeared under such mysterious circumstances. Mom placed a call to the sector police patrol car, and within a few minutes they arrived and took a statement. The fingerprint experts will be arriving tomorrow to complete the investigation. Needless to say we are devastated at the loss. Although the coins were very valuable, it was more about the sentimental value that the coins represented.

A new thing I now do is call Dad by his name, Norwin, when asked to. Daddy is sooooo thrilled!

In closing I’d like you all to keep in mind little Maddison’s Mommy and Daddy. After a short but tough battle with her AVM she passed away on Friday, aged less than three months old. Mommy, Daddy and I met with Maddi’s parents to help support them. It would appear that at some point in time her brain was starved of oxygen, and sadly she just wasn’t as lucky as I was to have survived.
