It’s been a very quiet week for me. I’ve had tonsillitis for the entire week and it’s been so bad at times that I had pustules visible in the back of my throat. So all in all, I really don’t have too much to chat about. Wednesday was a public holiday so Daddy was home the whole day. We discovered that Disney XD had a Phineas and Ferb marathon on for the morning, culminating in a full feature film at midday. Since the whole family are Phineas and Ferb fans we were in heaven. Mom and I sent Dad out to get breakfast at one point in the morning, so that our viewing wouldn’t be interrupted.

By Friday I was starting to feel somewhat better, and although I hadn’t been at school the whole week, Mom and I decided to go see Lauren for my OT. It was a great session and I did all my exercises. I concentrated perfectly through all of them. Also, Friday Daddy’s life resumed to normality after his iPad was swapped out with a new one. We’ve not seen him since.

Saturday morning we chilled at home, and after a short snooze we went to Morgan’s house for his birthday party. It was a stunning party and despite it being autumn already we all swam during the afternoon. Sadly the party had to come to an end, and it was already dark by the time we arrived back home.

We popped out to Wimpy for a breakfast on Sunday morning. I played up a storm on the jungle gym, and even made some new friends. Driving home I fell asleep in the car. After my snooze Ryan and his Mommy Claudi and Daddy Paul arrived for a visit and cheese and wine. Ryan and I played up a storm. We bounced on the trampoline, ran through the Winnie the Pooh sprinkler, played trains and to top off a good playdate we painted each other blue. Our parents thought it was hilarious. Paul and Daddy got chatting about trains and found a shared passion. I was thrilled for them, and immediately plans were made to go to the Rand Society of Model Engineers to see some model trains in action.

Well, that’s it for this week – short and sweet!

Til next week.

Love,

Jarrod
