Monday morning Daddy took me to school. Traffic was really horrendous, but it gave us lots of time to chat. I sang and played games and we giggled. School was uneventful, but afterward Mom took me for a play at McDonalds. In the evening Mommy had to go to work, so Daddy did my cares and put me to bed. We read stories and pretty soon I drifted off to sleep.

There was some chaos around the house on Tuesday morning as Daddy woke up with excruciating back pain. Mommy agreed that after dropping me off at school she’d come home and take Daddy to the doctor and physio. When Mommy collected me after school she said we need to go to Morningside Medi Clinic where Daddy was having an ultrasound done. We arrived just as he was finished. I ran down the passage of radiology (where I’m pretty well known) and shouted “Dadddddddddeeeeeeeeeeeeee” and then softly hugged him when I got there. It turns out that he has an inguinal hernia in left and a slipped disk in his spine. I felt so bad for him – he moved about like an old man.

On Wednesday morning Mom and I gingerly helped dress Dad. School was cool and I had Be Sharp Beetles afterward. I missed cooking unfortunately.

Mom, Dad and I had an appointment at Mini-Marist which is part of St David’s Marist Brothers on Thursday. When we arrived I said to Mom, “Bye Mom, you can leave me here!” They thought it was really funny. I immediately got to playing on the jungle gym while Mom and Dad had a meeting with the principal. I really liked the school and hope I get in. Daddy and my Uncle Oliver are old boys at Marist Brothers, as are both my cousin Ryans! Afterward I had neurotherapy with Carol. As Daddy was already with us he decided to come with and watch it. I was thrilled. I showed Daddy how I manage the alpha, beta and gamma rays of my brain while I played a game, made puzzles and raced cars. Daddy was very impressed with my performance. As usual, I fell fast asleep after the neurotherapy as it is very taxing on me.

Friday morning there was huge excitement before school. It was super hero / princess day and I chose to go as The Hulk. So early Friday morning Mom and Dad started painting me green. I then donned a torn pair of jeans and a torn shirt (I was a little horrified at first that Mommy would do that, but it was in the name of art). I looked great! At school there were Spidermen and Batmen and lots of fairies, but no other Hulks. I was thrilled to be one of a kind!

After school I went to see Lauren, but not before Mommy touched up my make-up! I had a good time with Lauren (I’d been asking to see her the whole week already). I was supposed to have a play date in the afternoon but I wasn’t up for it. I had a hectic cough, so Mom took me to Dr Anthony who was surprised to see me completely green! I assured him that it wasn’t for that reason that I was there to see him.

In the evening we had pizza; I went with Dad to collect them and was on my best behaviour as Daddy couldn’t run after me nor pick me up into the car. I listened to his instructions perfectly.

Daddy woke up with a huge migraine on Saturday morning – I really felt awful for him – he wasn’t having a good week. Off we went to Dr Anthony (again) where Daddy got three shots in the bum. We barely got him home and he was fast asleep. He slept the rest of the day. In the afternoon Mom and I went off to Nina’s place for a big party. I was sad that Daddy couldn’t there but we had a blast. There were lots of littleys and we played up a storm.

Sunday morning we popped into Sandton City for Mom to check on her exhibitors. While Mom walked around Dad and I checked out tech at Incredible Connection. For lunch we met up with Paul, Claudi, Val, Edi and Ryan at Al Fresco where we played up a storm. In the shrubs someone found a little chameleon which was really really cute. We also spotted a massive caterpillar. And yes we played and played on the jungle gym. After a little play at home I decided it was time for a snooze.

That’s it for now!
