On Monday morning I woke up to discover Missy now had four kittens in total. She is a very proud mommy and looks after her kittens really well. On Tuesday morning, as Mommy was about to leave to take me to school, she discovered that I’d fallen fast asleep again after having had breakfast and gotten dressed! I guess I’m going through one of those tired patches in my life. Once I was awake we headed off to school. Sadly as I arrived all my friends started taunting me with a chorus of ‘late again, late again’. I was not impressed. After school I had speech with Nicki which went very nicely.

On Wednesday Daddy took me to school. After school we had music to continue practicing for our year end concert which is just around the corner now. In the afternoon I was left in Granny’s care as Mommy had an appointment to go to. Once Daddy got home, he, Granny and I went to the Spur for dinner. It was a new Spur that I’d not been to before, in Gallo Manor. It has an awesome play area and we had a great deal of fun. In the evening the skies opened and a huge storm ensued. When we woke up Thursday morning and looked out the window, our pool was brown. The sand from the construction site next-door had flooded into our pool. We weren’t impressed. At midday I had OT – Lauren needed to bring my session a day forward. I found Mom and Granny giggling in the reception while I was in my session – they picked up my discussion with Laruen “Oh no, not cereal again! Please don’t say I must eat cereal!”

In the evening we went to the Spur. Again. This time we went to our ‘old’ Spur in Victory Park. There we met Jaco with Kate and Gene, as well as Michelle and Daneel with Emma and Liya (Nina was in Miami and missed all the fun). We all had such fun. The girls and I played like mad things, and somewhere in the evening we dared Dad to have bottomless ribs. He took the dare, and did us proud. We rolled him to the car.

Friday Daddy took me to school again, and in afternoon Mom, Dad and Granny collected me. It was so nice have a troupe of loved ones collect me! Back home in the afternoon Mom, Granny and I played while Dad worked.

Saturday morning Dad and I rolled up our sleeves and started cleaning the pool. It was hard work, but also a lot of fun. By midmorning we had pumped the pool empty and the walls and floor were scrubbed and hosed down of silt. It was then time to refill the pool – I had such fun playing in the deep end of the pool, albeit just a large puddle. Mom and I had a snooze in the afternoon, and once I was awake the pool was full again and I helped Daddy flush the filter and the pipes of any remaining silt. My job was to stop a whirlpool forming at the weir. It was great fun.

Sunday morning I made a picnic for Mom and Dad outside. It was great sitting in the early morning sun chatting and eating. Later in the day we popped into Toys-R-Us Express, next door, as Daddy had decided to buy me another Disney Infinity character and some power discs for working so hard yesterday in cleaning the pool. We had an early lunch and then spent the rest of the day at home where I played and played. Granny arrived back at our place in the late afternoon and there was lots of fun to be had.

In the late afternoon Dad and I chilled on my balcony where I started winding up my gymnastic rings, hanging on, and letting them unwind. Eventually I was so dizzy I walked into things. It was hilarious. Suddenly Daddy shouted “Crab!” as he was looking into the garden from the balcony. And there, true as life, was a crab! I didn’t last long after that – I told Mom I want to lie down and “Think about life” and I promptly fell asleep.

Until next week!

Love
